Job: Administrative Coordinator

 

DAACLT is seeking an individual with marketing/social media, membership administration, and event management skills to help support our members, board, and organization.

This position offers 10 hours per week, with additional hours required for special events. Individuals would be compensated $15-$17/hour commensurate based on experience.

The Dance Artist Alliance of Charlotte is currently seeking an administrative coordinator to serve on the board. Please submit your CV today to chairs@daaclt.org 
 

Hourly Rate: $15.00-$17.00 commensurate based upon experience.

Weekly Hour Requirement: 10 hours during normal business hours. Special events will require additional hours. 

 

Job Description: The administrative coordinator serves as an advocate for the performing arts, collaborator, innovator, and self-motivator. The coordinator has the passion to grow themselves within their position and DAACLT as a whole for the advancement of the Charlotte arts community. The coordinator works closely with 4-5 board members in a variety of platforms. 

 

Job Duties and Expectations: Experience in the following skills are required: 

  1. Marketing/Social Media Administrator (responsible for website edits, marketing materials, social media content, etc.)

  2. Membership Administrator (responsible for communication with DAACLT members, growing membership numbers, maintaining membership tables at events, keeping up with members’ membership status, and responsible for the main info email)

  3. Events Programer (responsible for coordinating and implementing events designed by the Events Committee)

Required Skills

  1. Writing, ability to collaborate, high organization, basic graphic design in order to create social media posts and flyers in platforms (Canva). 

Desired Skills 

  1. Software Proficiency in Google Drive, Canva and Monday.com are desired but can be taught.
